It's been rainy here lately, which really has been a blessing. Last year one of our nearby lakes, Lake Allatoona dried up almost completely. There were all kinds of news stories about that, as well as some controversy about the governor praying for rain--because of separation of church and state and all that. Silly, if you ask me. But my point is that all this recent rain is a very good thing.Sunday was another rainy day. Not long after we got back from church, there was a break in the rain, and Lacy needed to go out. (She's a mostly indoor dog.) We prefer that she goes when it's not in the middle of a downpour, but she absolutely loves getting dried off when she comes back in, so sometimes I think she fakes having to go just so she can get that towel rub-down. Anyway, Ken and Kathryn went out, too, and Kathryn decided that her ladybug rain boots were required. I got tickled about how they looked with her little dress...
